Out with old and in with the new is the theme of the Chinese New Year. Bam’s Kitchen has been busy cooking up a storm and creating and organizing for my expansion of a new and improved self hosted culinary site.
Here is a sneak preview of some of the treats I have been making in Bam’ Kitchen…. Life is short so lets start with dessert first. Warm and cozy Asian spiced pears that are gluten-free and diabetic friendly.
How about a zesty Thai beef salad?
Or how about a nourishing and warming Southeast Asian noodle Laksa that is slightly sweet, spicy and vibrant, with a tropical creaminess from coconut milk?
I am still doing a bit of cleanup and reorganizing on my new QA data website. I just love the new functionality and recipe search function and many other goodies and I hope you will too.
For those wordpress reader followers out there, it is very important to note then when a site moves from a wordpress site to a self hosted site the wordpress “reader” functionality may or may not stay functioning and I may fall off your list. Please take a moment to follow me by e-mail, twitter or facebook, google reader, RSS feed or pininterest and I will be doing the same with you to make sure that I never loose touch with all of my dearest foodie friends. (All of the Bam’s Kitchen social networks are located conveniently on the right hand side of my website.)
My new website will still be found at http://bamskitchen.com. I will be sure to be keeping you up to date on a go live date and thanks so much for your patience.
Take care,
BAM

Exciiiiiiiiiting! I did the same thing in November for my site (as you probably remember). I hope wordpress comes up with a way for followers to still follow those who move to self-hosted wordpress.org sites because it has such great functionality and would keep us within the community!

Hello Rachel, I am so glad you made your move as your real personality is shining through. I just watched your first video today and that was so fun. I am right there with you on getting the reader functionality to stay intact when you move to a .org. I have installed a jet pack and hope that will help some . How is Cupcake ?
